Truc Nguyen, MS, LLP (she/her/hers) is a limited licensed psychologist in the state of Michigan. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. 

She has clinical training and experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, depression, relationship/interpersonal conflicts, adjustment-related stress, family-of-origin concerns, multicultural issues, behavioral difficulties, parenting issues, ADHD and executive functioning coaching, as well as other general life challenges. Truc also has specialized training and experience in comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for ADHD, specific learning disorders, etc. 

Truc’s treatment approach is integrative, using a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to create a treatment plan that best tailors the client and/or their families’ therapeutic goals and needs.

Truc strives to create and provide a collaborative, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space for her clients. She believes in the importance of creating a strong therapeutic alliance and meeting the client where they’re at.
