Alyssa Thomas, BA - K-8 Education, NASM-CPT (she/her/hers) is a Special Education Teacher, who also provides consultation and advocacy for parents of children with special needs. Alyssa has a Bachelors in K-8 education, with both an early childhood and K-12 special education endorsement. She has over 10 years of experience working with children birth-18 in various settings, including experience as a teacher in Early Childhood Special Education and elementary classrooms/resource rooms. Alyssa is passionate about making sure that all children have what they need to be successful both in and out of the school setting and that parents feel supportive throughout their child’s educational experience. 

Alyssa is also a Certified Personal Trainer, with specializations in Women’s Health and Perinatal Fitness and has experience working with women before, during, and after pregnancy. As the Mom of a 2 year old and 3 month old, Alyssa knows how difficult it can be finding time for yourself, and believes in empowering women by helping them to improve their strength, health, and confidence through sustainable, personalized workouts. 

Alyssa is currently scheduling both educational and perinatal fitness consultations, after which she will work with her clients to determine the appropriate next steps/services for clients to achieve their goals.
