Isabelle J. VanAntwerpen, B.A. (she/her/hers) is an advanced standing social work intern, pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan with a focus on Welfare of Children and Families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Hope College, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and honors in both Phi Alpha and Psi Chi.
Isabelle has supported children and families through her work with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Ottawa County, the Tri Cities Family YMCA, and leadership roles at Hope College. She is passionate about combining compassionate direct care with organizational leadership and advocacy to strengthen systems of support.
Isabelle is currently practicing under the supervision of Jen Burke, LMSW, IMH-E®, JD, and is committed to providing care that is collaborative, empathetic, and respectful of all identities and family structures.
